My name is Patrick Barrins I live in the Historic town of Edinburgh with my wife Lesley and daughter Angela. I have always been interested in writing and have found that my experience in Front Life Health Care has given me some insight into the Human Condition - the ideal subject matter. Why are certain people in life more driven to help their fellow humans than others? How do we cope when faced with a major crisis in our lives? What are the great Moral Debates that shape our view of a civilized society, indeed make us into the people we are? I have always been enthusiastic about the great writers who confront these issues, the Historians who help us to see what we have become and where we are going.
